I discovered that I had to get above the 80th percentile in at least two of the thee sections of the GRE to be eligible for a scholarship from my top university. I needed help mostly in math and writing and only had about one month to prepare. I chose Magoosh and found them super relevant, professional, and helpful. It was exactly what I needed! With help from them I created a game plan for the writing section, when before I felt lost. All the math lessons and practice problems were on point, exactly what you will find on the actual exam. Come exam day, I felt extremely well prepared and reached my goal! I am still waiting for the AWA score, but I feel very optimistic about it.

When I took the official GRE practice test, I recognized two weaknesses: my limited vocabulary and my lack of speed in answering math questions. Thankfully, Magoosh GRE was able to help me improve both of these. The flashcards let me study anytime and I expanded my vocabulary by over 300 words. The math practice questions and the explanation videos helped me develop strategies to answer questions more quickly and I was able to answer every question on the GRE to the best of my ability. Well, you guys have really tons of tasks, which is really helpful during intensive study. Actually I started to prepare for GRE only within 1 month though I bought subscription in JUNE, but this is just because of my work and study, I had no time earlier. Videos were also helpful with some tricky formulas but I think I knew math quite well before.

I found the vocab flashcards super helpful to learn new words in spare time. Love, love, love the math guy in the quant lesson modules. He is awesome at breaking things down, and clearly loves the subject. I only had about 10 days to study for the quant, but these videos were clutch.

Another thing for which I am utterly grateful to Magoosh is their helpfulness. I purchased a premium subscription of Magoosh in October 2014 which was supposed to end in March 2015. But for some personal problems I couldn't take preparation for GRE in this time. At last I could manage to sit for GRE in October 2016. Within this time they I requested them for extension four times. They saw that I couldn't use their content so they offered me extension every time. Thank you Magoosh for this helpfulness.

Magoosh has fantastic tutors in Mike and Chris coupled with an excellent and exhaustive question bank. Chris regularly posts challenging questions on social media and it was a fun way to keep myself engaged through out my preparation.

Magoosh gives a variety of pratice questions as well as the basic knowledge that is necessary to approach them. Giving a detailed thought process of approaching verbal questions was the most useful part for me.

The abstruse verbal passages, in particular, felt like interminable mazes to me. Moreover, I could not fathom how someone could complete a math section within the allowed time limit. Verbal: The verbal section was my main challenge in taking the GRE. Magoosh has been really helpful throughout my preparation. The practice questions are actually slightly harder than those on the actual GRE as to when I took the test and I was on my second verbal section I thought I did so terrible on the first section that I got a easier section for the second one! I loved all the explanation videos, and I loved how Chris frequently used GRE vocab while talking, really helped me in remembering them. Have I not been distracted by the constantly-walking invigilators and thus wasted about 5 minutes, I believe I could have got an even higher score on the verbal section. But anyway, I am extremely satisfied by this score.

I increased my total score by 14 points. My goal was to get 320, and thanks to magoosh I scored even higher. The flashcards were hugely helpful.

There were so many practice problems, and the explanations made it easy to understand what mistakes I was making.

Magoosh was the best help I could've gotten to succeed in the GRE. I don't think I could've succeeded as much as I did without Magoosh. I hadn't taken a math class in about 5 years and I've always struggled with my vocabulary and reading comprehension, but thanks to Magoosh I feel like improved greatly on both accounts.
